Men & women are defined by their socially defined roles, and partially by some natural, innate qualities. They're defined by their interests and their actions. They're defined by their relationship to one another. So I'm gonna copy the Zombieslayer's last post and use the 51 things about me to list some ways I think of myself as a woman (or not).

- I always consider others' opinions when making group plans.
- I am very empathetic.
- I can count on two hands the total number of people who have ever seen me cry.
- Weak women annoy me.
- I can use powertools (I didn't mean that kind, get your mind out of the gutter).
- I have a dirty mind.
- I love violent movies, the more blood and explosions, the better.
- I am learning how to knit.
- I like jewlery and pretty skirts/dresses.
- But not pink ones.
- I can't walk in high-heels.
- I am self-consious about the way I look.

- He's the only one who can treat me like a "girl" and I like it.
- I'm a cat and a dog person
- I hate spiders and centipedes. I have been know to say "eeek!" on occasion when encountering them.
- I'm not afraid of dirty jobs (like cleaning up cat puke or puppy poop).
- I have a black thumb - the only plant I can keep alive is an Aloe, and that's just because John reminds me to water it.
- I sing to my pets.
- I can be nurturing when I need to be (John's a big baby when he's sick).
